Obituary

GLENS FALLS --- Adam Christopher Fleming, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 24, 2023, after struggling with health issues through the past couple of years.

Born November 12, 1981, in Glens Falls, New York, he was the son of the late Charles H. Fleming and Carol Bowler Fleming.

In Adam's early years as a young man, he worked with The Community Action Agency in Glens Falls, for the Green Team and for several years, through his health issues, he enjoyed his position as a seasonal laborer for The Maplewood Ice Company.

He loved his children tremendously and as a young father he was attentive, loving and took pride in late night feedings and diaper duty. It gave him great joy to spend time with and care for all five of his children. Adam loved time with his friends, being one with nature, and listening to music was something he enjoyed doing to pass time.

In addition to his parents, Adam was predeceased by his grandparents Charles and Ruth Bowler, and his brother-in-law Michael Fleeman.

Left to cherish his memories include his partner who he adored, Jennifer LeAnn Brown; his five children: Amanda Emily Fleming, her partner Geo Telfort of Orlando, Florida, the couple is expecting their first child in January 2024, Brittany Cathrine Duers, her husband Logan of Glens Falls, Adam Christopher Matte of Bolton Landing, and Taylor Jean Fleming & Madison Kendra Ball of South Florida; two brothers: Dwayne Fleming, his wife Debbie of Hartford, Charles Fleming, his partner Mary of Land O' Lakes, Florida: four sisters: Vicki Camp of Glens Falls, Tina Justice, her husband Lyle of Alabama, Toni Fleming of Kingsbury, April Fleming, her partner John Fish of Glens Falls; five nieces: Casey, Alecia, Ashley, Kristi and Alexa; five nephews: Michael, Cj, Christopher, Teagan and Gavin; as well as many great nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

After a short vehicle procession, Adam will be laid to rest during a graveside ceremony at the Glens Falls Cemetery on Bay Street in Glens Falls, New York.

A celebration of life will immediately follow at Adam's favorite place to enjoy, Haviland's Cove in Glens Falls, New York.
