THURMAN --- Andrea M. (Williams) Clark, 54, of Henry Wescott Rd., Thurman, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass. with her loving husband by her side.
Born January 16, 1958 in Little Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Benjamin O. and Carol Ann (Bowen) Williams.
After graduating from Queensbury High School, class of 1976, she started her career in retail sales and management at Cooks Discount in Queensbury. In 1985, Andrea joined the management team at Joy Department Store in South Glens Falls. In 1991, she went to Scoville Jewelers in downtown Glens Falls as assistant store manager. In 1997 she became a licensed Real Estate Agent and Associate Broker, representing clients at Prudential Manor Homes, Balfour Realty and up until her final illness, All American Properties.
Andrea and Greg were brought together in September of 2005 and were married August 5, 2007. They enjoyed spending time hiking, canoeing, and camping together. Although she and her husband traveled in many areas of the country, she enjoyed the Adirondacks the most. The past seven years were the very best years of her life.
She was a former member of Glens Falls Kiwanis Club.
Her father predeceased her.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Gregory Clark of Thurman; her mother, Carol Ann Williams of Queensbury; two brothers, Mark Williams and his wife, Kathy, of Loon Lake, and Scott Williams of Sarasota, Fla.; a special nephew, Jeremy Williams of Minerva; one brother-in-law, Matthew Clark and his wife, Mary, of Chestertown; three step-daughters, Joy Daywalt and her husband, David, and their children, Katie and Andrew, all of Oakville, Ontario, Jill Clark of Clifton Park, and Lindsey Wilcox and her husband, Roger, of Pleasant Hill, Calif. Friends may call upon the family Monday, June 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Flossie Gage Bates officiating.
