Ann T.
Mulligan
Oct 2, 1937 — Oct 10, 2024
LAKE GEORGE --- Ann T. Mulligan, 87, was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Ann was the eldest child of Barnabus and Eileen O'Flaherty Boyd. Born and raised in Washington Heights, NYC.
Growing up, she spent summers on the beach in Rockaway where she met and married her lifeguard James M. Mulligan. Together they raised three daughters. They spent their entire lives together enjoying the beaches and boating of Lake George, New York and Longboat Key, Florida. Her life was full of sunshine.
Through her amazing journey she walked the beach in the early mornings to find the perfect seashell washed in by the waves. She watched the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico after a perfect beach day. She cherished boating in the "Mulligan Stew" on her beloved Lake George. Along the way she made amazing lifelong friends.
Gathering with family and friends was most important to her. She was very proud of her family, and we were so lucky to have her. She had a beautiful life.
She will be deeply missed by those left to cherish her memory husband, James M. Mulligan; children, Doreen (William) Hurley, Deborah (Kent) Phillips, Jennifer (Jeff) Maltbie; grandchildren, Devin (Maura), Sarah, Ashleigh, Brittany, Melanie; and great grandchild, Liam.
Services will be private.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of Ann's caregivers who provided support and comfort to Ann and her family. They would also like to thank the Lake George Emergency Squad for all of their help.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann's name may be made to The Lake George Emergency Squad, 24 Gage Road, Lake George, NY 12845, St. Jude's , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and Tunnel to Towers , 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
