QUEENSBURY---Anne P. Van Orden, 72, passed away Dec. 17, 2015, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Born in N.Y.C., July 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Daily) Hennelly.
Anne worked as Head Secretary at Bankers Trust in Manhattan and was part of the management team at Poinsettia ISLAND, in Florida as part of the Condo Association.
She enjoyed reading mystery and romance novels, crossword puzzles, and watching old detective shows. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
On Jan. 10, 1966 she married her love, Arthur Van Orden, in N.Y.C.
Along with her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Van Orden; her son, Matthew Van Orden; and her dog, Prince.
Left to cherish her memories are two children, Melissa Van Orden of Queensbury, William (Alexia) Van Orden of Miami Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Christine and Tara Cottone, Sarah, Alyssa, and Matthew Sowden, and Sean Van Orden; great-grandchild, Grace Mattison Smith; a brother, Matthew Hennelly; and her dog, Kira.
The family would like to thank Lynn Keil, P.A., and all of the wonderful staff at Hudson Headwaters.
As per Anne's request, there will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Glens Falls, with the Rev. Liam Condon officiating.
