QUEENSBURY --- Arthur W. Van Orden, 68, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at The Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Glens Falls.
Born August 11, 1943 in Astoria, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur and Doris (Coffey) Van Orden.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was predeceased by a son, Matthew, and a brother Bill.
Arthur was the beloved husband of Anne (Hennelly) Van Orden, happily married for 44 years. He was also the beloved father of Melissa and Billy; loving grandfather to Sean, Christine, Tara, Matthew, Sarah, and Alyssa.
Friends may call upon the family Friday, June 8, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 8, at 2:30 p.m. at Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation, Aviation Road, Queensbury, with The Rev. Joseph Busch, officiating.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Glens Falls Hospital, especially Dr. Bollinger, Lynn Keil, Dr. Borgos, Dr. Nevatia, and Dr. Byrne. You are all very wonderful! Thank you for making this difficult time a little easier.
