GRANVILLE --- Arthur J. "AJ" Watson Jr., 53, of State Route 22, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, with his wife by his side.

Born November 5, 1970, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Arthur J. Watson Sr. and Toni Parker.

Following high school, AJ was employed by Nemer Ford in Queensbury, New Country Toyota in Saratoga, Ritchie Brothers Slate Quarry in Middle Granville.

On April 3, 1996, AJ married Theresa Rovelli at their home in Whitehall.

He enjoyed fishing, long rides in the Adirondacks, going to Lake George, fireworks, movies, cooking, ice cream, and seafood. Sports center was his all-time favorite thing to watch, as he kept track of sports news and events. He also loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, AJ was predeceased by his grandparents, Arthur Watson and Marion Delorme, Robert and Jense (Mardella) Parker.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Theresa (Rovelli) Watson; his stepchildren, David (Rachel) Prehoda of Queensbury, Carrie (Matthew) Bielinski of Rexford; and Christopher (Lauren) Steves of Whitehall; his grandchildren, Gianna and Octavia Prehoda of Queensbury, Violet Bielinski of Rexford, and Dominic and Lola Steves of Whitehall; his sisters, Wendy L. Watson and Danielle (Scott) Crump, all of North Granville; many aunts, uncles and cousins and a few close friends.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all who sent messages, phone calls, and prayers for AJ and Theresa.
