QUEENBURY -- Barbara M. "Doodle Bug" Tremblay, 84, of Queensbury, NY born September 22, 1930, completed her Circle of Life on Monday, September 22, 2014.

Barbara was born in Glens Falls, NY on Sept. 22, 1930. She worked as a kindergarten aide at Queensbury School for over 25 years.

Barbara enjoyed Sweet Adeline's, clogging, singing, baking, sewing and spending time with all her family. Many friends and family celebrated birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other occasions with cakes Barbara decorated for those special events.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Gertrude & Roscoe Rowell, her brothers, William, Donald, Edward and Roscoe Rowell, daughter in law, April Tremblay, and granddaughter, Jodi Tremblay.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 68 years, John C. Tremblay Sr.; her two daughters, Barbara Bartwitz and partner, James Link, of Sandgate, VT, Diane Blair and husband, Robert, of Glens Falls; three sons, Daniel Tremblay and wife, Marilyn, of Milford NH, Eugene Tremblay and wife, Judy, of Queensbury, John Tremblay Jr. and wife, Patty, of South Glens Falls; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Per the family's request, there will be no calling hours or services.

Barbara's ashes will be cherished by the family until her husband, John C. Tremblay Sr's. death. At that time the family will have a private service for both of them together as their life has been for 70 plus years.

The family gives special thanks and appreciation to Tiffany Sloan for the wonderful care and love she gave mom during her last difficult weeks.
