Glens Falls --- Barry Erskine, 74, of Glens Falls, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, unexpectedly at Albany Medical Hospital.

Born December 18, 1943, he was the son of Richard B. Erskine and Mary Webb.

Barry was an accountant whose business, Saratoga Tax Corporation, helped many people in need over the years.

He enjoyed taking walks, telling jokes, spending time with his dog and driving up to Maine every year.

In addition to his parents, Barry was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Linda Erskine.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Karen Hardison and her husband, Jonathan, of Lugoff, SC, Kim Hubbard-Wilson and her husband, Thomas, of Clay, NY and Laurie Erskine of Salem, NY; grandchildren include Morgan Hubbard, Daniel Hardison, and Sam, Olivia and Sofia Wilson; his sisters, Ann Bailey of Chester, VT, Bette Willard and her husband, Rodney, of Poultney, VT; his brothers include Robert Erskine and his wife, Koren, of Chester, VT, Bryan Erskine and his wife, Diane, of Greene, ME; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a service celebrating his life at the Queensbury Church of Christ on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 4 p.m.
