WARRENSBURG --- Bernard J. Gallup, of Warrensburg, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 at Glens Falls Hospital, with his loving family by his side.
Born April 24, 1956 in Warrensburg, he was the son of James R. and Florence L. (Kane) Gallup.
Bernie graduated from Warrensburg Central School. For many years , he owned and operated Gallup Trucking.
Some of his enjoyments included crossword puzzles, repairing cars, watching old movies and NASCAR, and listening to music.
In addition to his grandparents and several aunts and uncles, Bernie was predeceased by his mother.
Left to cherish his memory are his two children Marnie (Kevin) Emrick, and Jamie S. Calhoun; three grandchildren, Frank, Kristy, and Nicole Doner; his father, James Gallup; a sister, Mary (Bruce) Randall; a brother, John (Laurie) Gallup; three nephews, Devin and Ryan Randall, and Jeremy Gallup; as well as several aunts and uncles.
At his request, there will be no services.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at a later date.
