Bonnie Marie
Brown
Aug 13, 1951 — Jan 9, 2025
Bonnie Marie Brown of Hudson Falls passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Bonnie was born August 13, 1951 in the Glens Falls Hospital. Growing up with her three cherished brothers, Ed, Larry and Tim she would be described as a true girly girl but that didn't stop her from being the best at climbing trees.
One of her favorite memories was when she had a tea party with her brother Larry, whom she always was close with. Bonnie grew up in Luzerne and graduated from Hadley Luzerne High School in 1970. From there she married her high school sweetheart Harry Corey on August 11, 1973 and went on to be a stay at home mom after having her three sons, Jason, Jeremy and Christopher. She would later get divorced and fall deeply and madly in love with her late Husband, Danny Brown whom she called her soulmate and her true love. Danny had two kids of his own, Cindy and David Brown from a previous marriage whom Bonnie welcomed into her heart without hesitation and considered them her own. After meeting Danny they had their son Jonathan and from there she knew her family was complete. If you knew Bonnie you knew that she loved and cherished her kids more than anything else in this world.
Bonnie later lost her true love in September of 2008 and knew she would never be with anyone else. The biggest part of Bonnie's life besides her family was her love of God. Bonnie also had the biggest heart of pure gold and a true passion for helping people.
Bonnie for years worked for Fort Hudson Health system as a home health aide, while spending time with her family and going to church and praising god in between. After retiring, she would enjoy her time with her family and her church family. She always would talk about wanting to leave her family and the people she cared for the most, something to remember her by. Which she most definitely did. She left journals for each and everyone she loved and cared for dating back to 1986.
Bonnie is predeceased by her mother, Wilhelmina "Peggy" Deming; father, Charles Deming Sr.; true love, Danny Brown; grandson, Eric Cochran; great grandson, Hayden Corey; beloved dog, Chico; and cat, Gucci.
Bonnie is survived by so many people who loved her dearly, including her three brothers, Ed Deming, Larry (Bonnie) Deming and Tim (Karen) Deming; her six kids, Jason (Mandi) Corey, Jeremy (Donna) Corey, Christopher Corey, Cindy A Corey, David (Becky) Brown, and Jonathan (Rea) Brown; former daughter-in-law, Christina Weaver-Corey; many grandchildren, Tyler Corey, Kayla (Seth) Corey, Emily (Wade) Corey, Kaitlin (Gabe) Cochran, Andrew Brown, Hannah Corey, Justin Corey, Brett Webster, Rebecca Corey, Molly Brown, Jackson Brown, Elli Eason, and Calli Eason; and great grandchildren, Moriah Cochran, Hayden Bovat, and Brinley Brown.
