SOUTH GLENS FALLS --- Bruce A. Aston, 74, passed away following a long, courageous battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with loved ones by his side.
Born June 21, 1951, in Goffstown, New Hampshire, he was the son of James and Lucille (Davis) Aston.
Bruce graduated from Raymond High School in 1969. He worked for several years at C. R. Bard in Glens Falls.
He was married to his high school sweetheart Trudi Aston for many years until her passing in 2007.
Bruce enjoyed dancing and spending time with loved ones.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was predeceased by his wife, Trudi Lynn Aston; and granddaughter, Jasmine Thornhill.
Those left to cherish his memory are his companion, Karen O’Connor; children, Kelli-Lynn Aston Reff, Jennifer Aston (Kevin Bruno), Christine Daignault (Chris Crowther) and Brittany Dunmire (Justin Dunmire) ; Grandchildren, Brianna Lippus (John Raftery), Billy Lippus (Megan Cumming), Emily Capone, Max Baker, Jennah Foster, Gabriel Daignault (Dana Harrington), Peyton Daignault (Ethan Johnson), Cassandra Reff, and Adrienne Reff; and great-granddaughter, Stella Dunmire whom he absolutely adored.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 1 to 4 p.m. at American Legion Post 91, 427 South Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the wonderful doctors who provided incredible care and support throughout his lengthy medical journey, including Dr. Amy Hogan, Dr. Robert Love, Dr. Aqeel Gillani, and Dr. Atilla Kaylar.
In loving memory of Bruce, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
