KATTSKILL BAY --- Bruce D. McClellan, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He will be remembered as a kind and generous gentleman.
Born October 8, 1944, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Brinton and Helen (Campbell) McClellan.
Bruce graduated from Darien High School in Connecticut, Class of 1962 then earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Syracuse University in 1966. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta (Figi) Fraternity. Following graduation Bruce married Nancy J. Chmiel, in New York City, whom he met in college.
After 35 years, Bruce retired from Kraft General Foods. In 2005, Bruce founded Pinnacle Realty Saratoga with his wife and began his journey as a Real Estate Broker/Owner.
For enjoyment, you could find Bruce boating on Lake George with his family and friends. He had a special love for all animals, especially his springer spaniel, JoDee. He was a member of Sunrise Rotary in Malta, where he served as past President. Bruce was also a member of Lake George Association and Lake George Land Conservancy.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Nancy McClellan; his children, Donna K. McClellan and Paul D. (Trennen) McClellan; three grandchildren, Connor, Aidan, and Campbell; his sister, Betty Peebles and her son, Scott (Diane) Burr; as well as his dear friends and extended family members.
At Bruce's request, services will be private.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Glens Falls Hospital and Bay Ridge Rescue Squad.
