QUEENSBURY – Carol Ann (Bowen) Williams, of Queensbury, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, at Glens Falls Hospital, following a short illness. She was 89.
Born December 29, 1923, in New Hartford, she was the daughter of Herbert and Margaret (Jones) Bowen.
She married Benjamin O. Williams in 1945, and they began their family in the Utica area. In the 1950s they moved to a cabin on Stoner Lake in Fulton County, where they lived for several years. In the 1960s they moved to the Glens Falls area, where she lived until her passing.
Carol Ann was predeceased by her husband, an infant son, Erik Williams, and a daughter, Andrea Clark.
She is survived by her son, Mark Williams and his wife Kathleen, of Loon Lake, her son, Scott Williams and his companion, Jan Bullard, of Sarasota, Florida, her grandson, Jeremy Williams, and his wife Sarah, of North Creek, and her son-in-law, Greg Clark, of Thurman. She is also survived by her three great-granddaughters, Helena, Caroline, and Lucia Williams of North Creek.
