UPDATED FUNERAL NOTICE:

A graveside service will take place Friday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in South Glens Falls.

QUEENSBURY – Cecelia T. Shepard, 85, of Robert Gardens North, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016 at the Haynes House of Hope in Granville.
Born on October 25, 1930 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Assunta (Venezio) Pepe.
Cecelia graduated from St. Mary's Academy and was a happy homemaker. She was a waitress at the former D'Amico's Italian Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed spending her time cooking Italian meals and planting flowers and plants.
She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in South Glens Falls.
Along with her parents, Cecelia is predeceased by her sisters; Rose Forth, Angeline Pepe and Marguerite Angelo, and her brother; Andrew, Nunzio, Anthony, Frank and Joseph Pepe.
Left to cherish her memory are her longtime companion, Donald Conlee, of Queensbury; her son, Daryl Shepard, and his wife, Patti, of Queensbury; her grandchildren, Maxine (Matt) Saville, Jared (Elizabeth) Shepard, Scott (Kaylin) Shepard, and Daniel Shepard; and her great-grandchildren, Neve, Beck, Penn and Nell Saville, Henry Charles Shepard, and Bryn Shepard; Daryl's brother, Jason (Cheryl) Shepard and their two children; as well as several nieces, nephews, Don's family, Cecelia's extended family.
Friends are invited to call Saturday, January 30 from 11 to 1 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street, Queensbury, NY 12804.
A memorial service will immediately follow the calling hour at the funeral home with the Rev. Tony Childs from St. Michael's Church, officiating.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family at St. Mary's Cemetery, South Glens Falls.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the many wonderful and loving volunteers and staff at the Haynes House of Hope.
