Obituary

FORT EDWARD --- Charles Augustus Breault, Jr., 68, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, following a long illness.

Born August 7, 1957, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Charles and Helena (Walker) Breault.

Following his graduation from high school, Charles joined the United States Army, serving from 1974-1983. He attended college classes during this time. After his discharge from the service, he worked as a dispatcher for Fort Edward Express. He also worked in farming, as a warehouse worker, and as a trucker.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling, sports (especially the Oakland Raiders), scratch off lottery tickets, poker, and caring for his dogs and cats.

Charles was predeceased by his father, Charles Breault, Sr.; and his niece, Nola Myers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Helena Breault; sisters, Marilyn (Dwayne) Gorham, Lorrieanne (David) Kenyon, Theresa Rawlings, and Helena (Octaviano) Pineda; brothers, Christopher Breault, Samuel (Helen) Breault, and Albert (Melissa) Breault; also, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Zion Episcopal Church, 224 Main St., Hudson Falls, NY 12839. Military honors will follow at the church.

All are invited to a gathering at Zion Episcopal Church Parish Hall following the honors.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Cunningham, the Glens Falls Hospital nurses and doctors, and the Fort Edward Rescue Squad.

In loving memory of Charles, contributions may be made to any animal shelter of your choosing.
