HUDSON FALLS --- Charles "Chuck" Frederick Lozo, age 58, of John St., Hudson Falls, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at Glens Falls Hospital after a short illness.


Born Nov. 16, 1955 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Jane (Dumont) Lozo.


A handyman, Chuck enjoyed puttering and fixing things. He also loved his 2013 Dodge Avenger and the New York Giants. He was employed by the City of Glens Falls DPW as a mechanic for over 31 years.


In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Gilbert Lozo.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Godsil-Lozo of Hudson Falls; one son, Charles J. Needham of Hudson Falls; a brother, Ronald Joseph Lozo and his wife, Josie, of Lake George; sister-in-law, Sanae Lozo of Glens Falls; three nieces, Laura and Eric Sweenor of Ft. Edward, Cynthia Lozo and Rhonda Lozo, both of Fla.; and two nephews, John Lozo of Ft. Edward, Ronald Lozo of Lake George, and Butch Lozo of Glens Falls.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, Aug. 30, from 10 a.m. to noon at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.

A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Luzerne Rd., Queensbury.
