Born Jan. 11, 1915 in Hoosick Falls, he was the only child of the late John Judson and Margaret (Sanburgh) Peer. Shortly after birth, the family moved to Bolton Landing by railroad, then steamboat, settling in what is now known as the Huddle at Bolton Landing.

Juddy graduated from Bolton High School in 1935 and married the love of his life, Nancy "Arlene" Taylor in 1947 in a ceremony at Castleton, Vt. Nancy "Arlene" passed away March 23, 1999 after 52 years of marriage.

He was employed as a boat refinisher with Smith's Boat House in Bolton, and also as a licensed New York State fishing guide on Lake George from 1938 through 1961. Most recently, he was a self employed caretaker for numerous summer camps on Lake George in the Bolton area.

Juddy loved the outdoors and guiding on Lake George. He also was an avid beekeeper, producing his own honey, and an accomplished woodworker, taking pride in everything he made. Juddy always had a wonderful garden of both flowers and vegetables that was everyone's envy.
