GLENS FALLS --- Charles L Hill, III, 84, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born February 23, 1932 in Bronx, NY the son of late Charles L. and Kathleen (Collins) Hill, Jr.

Charles had a bachelor's degree in education and was an educator for many years.

He enjoyed classical music, playing the organ, crossword puzzles, television, playing Bridge (he was a Bridge Master), and jigsaw puzzles. Charles was a Christian of strong faith, although physical limitations kept him from services later in life.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Ruth (Sven) Sealander; Brother, Thomas (Dorothy) Hill; Dear friend, Russell Bracher; also dozens of nieces and nephews, as well as grand- and great-grand nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and committal will take place in the early summer.

Interment will also take place in Forest Hills Cemetery in Utica.
