Charlotte Fay Armstrong, 85, of Garnet Lake, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, with her family by her side.
Born October 9, 1939, in Garnet Lake, she was the daughter of the late Jennie S. Maxam and Urban H. Hitchcock.
For many years, Charlotte was a dedicated employee for the U.S. Postal Service.
Charlotte was well known for her spunk. She always knew how to make you laugh and she sure was good at it! She also had a love for her family like no other. You could always count on her to make you feel better and put a smile on your face. She enjoyed painting and crocheting in her free time and spending time at home with her husband and their dogs, Sambo and Bruno.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her siblings, James, Ralph, Milford, Richard, Raymond, Denelda, Mary and Irene. She was also predeceased by her beloved son, Wade B. Brown Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard H. Armstrong; her children, Amie (Marvin) Viele, Lorna Hitchcock and her son in law, Junior, Jarret (Jane) Brown and Tessa (Dell) Atkinson; her sister, Fannie Allen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no calling hours.
Burial will be private to the family.
Her passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
