QUEENSBURY --- Cherril Bernard Morrell, 66, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, December 1st, 2024.

Cherril was born on January 5th, 1958 in Saint Andrews, Grenada, she was the daughter of John and Eileen (Harrack) Bernard.

Cherril attended High School in Trinidad before coming to the U.S in 1978, where she got her GED and Associate's Degree in Software. Following her degree, Cherril worked in the Software Industry in Massachusetts before her long-term employment with Glens Falls Hospital as a G.I Associate.

Cherril married Daniel Morrell in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts on October 12th, 1995, they share two children together and almost 30 years of marriage.

Cherril's hobbies and enjoyments include making memories with her children, sci-fi movies, cooking, and holidays, especially Christmas. She was extremely proud of her West Indi Heritage and looked forward to traveling to Trinidad every year.

Those left to cherish her memory are her spouse, Daniel Morrell; son, Zoran Morrell of Queensbury, and daughter Zenla Morrell of Queensbury; brothers, Carl Bernard, John Bernard II, John Bernard III, and Josh Bernard; mother in-law, Marriann Morrell of Queensbury; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation Thursday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, with a memorial service to follow at noon, with Pastor Wagner officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow at the church.
