Obituary

LAKE GEORGE --- Cheryl A. Robinson, 58, of Old State Rd. North, Lake George, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 20, 2013 from Indian River Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Granville, after a long hard struggle with Kidney failure of both kidneys, diabetes 2, high blood pressure, breathing problems, and two strokes that left her paralyzed on both sides of her body.
Born Sept. 26, 1954 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Bertha (Bruce) Burnett.
She lived in South Glens Falls, where she attended school and church. She was active in the choir and nursery at the South Glens Falls Baptist Church.
She later attended Faith Bible Church on Division Rd. in Queensbury where her husband joined her for many years. She also was involved in the choir, nursery, and bus ministry.
She loved Adirondack Phantoms hockey, especially the mascot, Dax, and number 20, Cullen Eddie. She also loved Tweety, dolls, dolphins, and her cat, Sally. She and her husband have attended Faith Baptist Church in Warrensburg for a long time, where Lee Call is Pastor.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl was predeceased by a nephew, Scott Bond, her dogs, Princess, Daisy, Shadow, and Benji.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Robinson; four children, Jeremy Burnett, Rachel Bailey and her husband, Jonathan, Aaron Robinson, and Nathan Robinson; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Emily Bailey; two siblings, Sandra Jarvis and Gail Tifft; nieces and nephews, Patricia and David Beavers, William Bond Burnett, and Tracey Winch, her companion, Jimmy Kelly, and her son, Dakota Winch; also several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call upon the family Thursday, April 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Call, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Warrensburg, officiating.
Burial will follow at Hope Memorial Garden Cemetery, Ogden Rd., Queensbury.
Donations may be made, in loving memory of Cheryl, to Northeast Kidney Foundation, 501 New Karner Rd., Suite 6, Albany, NY 12205.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Glens Falls Hospital, Tower 2, and ICU, and also Indian River Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, C Wing, for all their care and compassion given to Cheryl and her family.
