Christine G.
Wynn
Oct 7, 1949 — Jan 25, 2026
Christine G. Wynn, 76, a devoted follower of Christ, entered into the presence of the Lord on January 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of grace, love, and steadfast faith. Chrissie's greatest joy in life was her family, and her light continues to shine in all of them who love her dearly.
Chrissie was born in Glens Falls hospital on October 7, 1949 to the late Walter, and Emily Rehm. She is a graduate of Bolton Central School in 1967, and a graduate of the Colonna Beauty school in Albany in 1968. She later went on to work at the Adirondack Radiology Department where she retired and continued in a part time capacity until 2021. She met the love of her life, the late Gregory A. Wynn in 1984, and they married in Lake Luzerne in 1994. They opened the Knotty Pine Diner in 1992 where they served up the most amazing homecooked meals for the family and community, aka Greg's signature chili cheese omelet with home fries.
Chrissie and Greg were soul mates and their favorite thing to do among many was to go visit the Amish in Pennsylvania. Greg passed away peacefully with his loving wife Chrissie by his side on October 16, 2013.
Survivors include her son, Chad Warika both of whom she adored, loved and was most proud of, and her daughter in law, Paula Warika. She spent the last four months of her precious time on earth with them sharing laughs, memories, and asking several times every evening if we got married with a beautiful smile of happiness when we said we did. During these four months, she spent time with her beloved grandchildren, Devan (Maria) Warika, Joshua Warika, Nick, and Matthew Klem. Her greatest joys were also felt with her great-grandchildren, Nathan, Lucas, and Evalynn Warika.
Chrissie loved all her brothers and sisters with all her heart, and is survived by Walter (Betty) Rehm, Theodore Rehm, David (Tatine) Rehm, Mary Ann and (Jim Urch), all from Bolton Landing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Carol, her friend of many years, and her sister-in-law Shirley, and extended family, especially Deanne Rehm.
We find comfort in the promise of eternal life as she joins her husband, Greg, in heaven. A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday February 8, 2026 at 1 pm at New Life Fellowship, 51 Old Gick Rd. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Red Cross and American Cancer Society.
Condolences may be sent directly to Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804, or through www.bakerfuneralhome.com.
