Claire Arlene
Guimond
Nov 21, 1938 — Jan 24, 2021
QUEENSBURY --- Claire Arlene Guimond was born November 21, 1938 in Glens Falls, to Edmund and Marguerite (Tucker) Guimond. After enduring several illnesses, she passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 10:30 p.m. at Warren Center in Queensbury.
She spent the majority of her life in dedication to her God, Jehovah, as a faithful witness to the truths in the Bible. She was sure of God's promise in hope of a resurrection. She spent most of her life trying to help others also share that comforting hope by studying the Bible. Her whole life she attended Glens Falls Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She also worked as hearing aid consultant, Singer Sewing Sales and service, as well as many years as an Avon Representative to her many loyal customers.
She is survived by two sisters, Jean Montgomery and Carol A. Guimond; nephews and nieces include: Daniel (Renee) Montgomery, Deborah (Duane) Gilchrist, and Joseph (Helen) Guimond, all of Lake Luzerne. Also remaining are many grand nephews and grand nieces along with great nephews and great nieces in the immediate area and South Carolina.
Also left to remember Claire are many, many spiritual sisters and brothers who look to the Bible's promise of the resurrection back to a restored paradise earth.
Among one of Claire's last wishes is that all who read this spend a few minutes to read Psalm 37 in its entirety.
Memorial services will be held via Zoom on Saturday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. For any who wish to attend, (Meeting ID - 818 8058 5388 Password – 186820).
Thanks to all the friends and spiritual companions who have been supportive and giving though all the years.
Grateful thanks for care go to the doctors and nursing facilities and all their support staff.
Any memorial remembrances may be made by contribution in her name to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, or charity of your choice.
