Obituary

QUEENSBURY – Clara LaPann, 68, of Mountainview Ln., Queensbury, passed away on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Feb. 27, 1946 in Corinth, she was the daughter of Ira and Viola (Pixley) Mosher.

Clara graduated from Corinth School.

On Aug. 15, 1971, she married Harry LaPann in her hometown.

Most recently, Clara worked at C.R. Bard, retiring after about 15 years.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, camping, researching her family history, and above all, spending time with her grandkids.

Clara was predeceased by her father, Ira Mosher, and two brothers, James Mosher Sr. and Howard Mosher.

In addition to her mother, Viola Mosher, survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Harry LaPann; their four children, Bill (Danelle) LaPann, Stacy (Craig) Freiberger, Heidi (David) Elder, Greg LaPann (Lee-Ann); six grandchildren, Casey, Ryan, and Aidan LaPann, Terri and Jessica Freiberger, and Hailey Dickinson; three sisters, Phyllis and Fran Mosher, and Jennie Cooper; four brothers, Cecil, Floyd, Clarence, and Delbert Mosher; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will take place Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lamont Robinson, retired pastor, officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Pine View Cemetery, Quaker Rd., Queensbury.
