HUDSON FALLS --- David M. Cameron, 63, passed away Jan. 8, 2018 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born June 12, 1954 in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Walter Cameron and Beth (Needham) Cameron.
David graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1972. He was a self-employed sheetrocker for many years.
On October 12, 1991 in Argyle, NY, he married the love of his life, Mary Lou.
Some of his enjoyments included traveling, going out to dinner and movies with his wife, spending time with family and friends, feeding his grandchildren Oreos, and teaching them things, some of which he should not have. He also enjoyed fixing things, duct taping stuff that actually needed to be thrown away, and collecting "useful things".
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his grandson, Johnathan Cameron.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Lou; children, Darlene (Jeffrey) Hafner of Hudson Falls, Dan Cameron of Glens Falls, and Debbie (Tommy) Nesmith of Virginia; step-children, Audrey (George Hermance) Landon of Hudson Falls, Natasha (Jared) Lawrence of Tennesee, Nicole (Aleksas) Barauskas of Florida, and Demetrios Gibbs of Schenectady; honorary children, Lisa (Herrick) Johnson of Virginia, Michael Ramsey of Albany, and Wendy Janes of Hudson Falls; grandchildren, Josh (Kristen) Janes, Dylan Hafner, Dominyque Cameron, Zachary Pope, Nikolas Pope, Andrew Nesmith, Braydon Wardlaw, Hayzenn Baker, and Leonas Barauskas; great-grandchildren, Johnathan and Khloe Janes, and Ofelia Ostrander, sister, Joan (Mike) Keyes; niece, Tammy Beaudet; nephew, Timmy Keyes; and his dog Dutchess, also beloved friends and family too numerous to individually list.
Calling hours will take place Friday, Jan. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 4 p.m with the Rev. Spencer Borderlon officiating.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you Irongate, Glens Falls Hospital, Albany Medical Center, Ellis Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and their staff members for all of their care over the years.
