Lake George --- David G. Peters, Sr., 71, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 25, 2017 with his wife by his side following a long battle with cancer.

Born on January 7, 1946 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Gordon and Gladys (Pronto) Peters.

David retired from Sandy Hill in Fort Edward. He loved gun and bow hunting, camping, fishing and being with his family.

David is survived by his wife, Darlene E. Peters, sons David Peters, Jr., James Peters and his wife, Gina, John Royallminns and his wife Amie, Timothy Royallminns and his partner Kim; daughters Emma Arpey and her husband Mike, Darby McQuain and her husband, Matt; several grandchildren, Stephany, Cheyanne, Amber, Britney, Sarah, Ryder, Riley, Sky, Lee, Alaysha and Nate; great grandchildren Selena, Marianna, Olivia, and Aniyah; a sister, Sharon Barber; and lifetime friends, James Beams and Cathy Cloutier, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and many pets over the year.

David asks that donations be made to the SPCA of Upstate NY, 588 Queensbury Ave., Queensbury, NY 12804, or a charity of one's choice.

At David's request there will be no formal services. A celebration of life will take place Friday, March 31 ^st , at his daughter's home.
