WARRENSBURG --- David Kenneth Vaughn, 76, passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on Sunday, February 11, 2024.

Born December 29, 1947, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Howard and Lucille (Putnam) Vaughn.

David grew up in Hudson Falls and worked as a mechanic, a greeter at Walmart, as well as various other jobs. He also worked as a truck driver delivering roof trusses, as well as a mechanic at a contracting company while living in Florida from 1995 to 2015. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967.

After 36 years together, he married Sandra L. Winslow on April 15, 2017, at a family home.

Some of his enjoyments in life were cookouts, family outings, fishing, hunting, bowling, and car rides in Autumn with Sandra.

In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his daughter, April Vaughn LeGrange; sister, Julie; and brother, Kenny Vaughn.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra (Winslow) Vaughn; children, Amber Vaughn, David Kenneth Vaughn, Jr., and Angela Vaughn; grandchildren, Brandon Baughman, Duane Baughman, Bryan LeGrange, Jayson LeGrange, Katelyn Manning, Kristine Manning, Kenneth Manning, Kendrick Manning, Elizabeth Vaughn, and Kevin Vaughn; great-granddaughter, Taylor Gibson; sisters, Connie Bancroft, Cathy Garzone, Cheryl Genier, and Janice Vaughn; also several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
