Obituary

MOREAU --- Deborah M. (Thompson) Kottman, 72, passed away following a long illness on Monday, April 14, 2025, with loved ones by her side.

Born July 16, 1952, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Walter Thompson, Sr. and Barbara Thompson.

Deborah attended Glens Falls High School. She married David Kottman on April 9, 1983, at St. Joseph's Church in Fort Edward.

She enjoyed traveling to Hampton Beach in the summer, motorcycle trips with her husband David, and listening to classic country music.

In addition to her parents, Deborah was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Thompson, Brian Thompson, and Bruce Thompson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Kottman of Moreau; sisters, Pamela (Lee) Corsones of Queensbury, Lori Thompson of Queensbury, and Barbara (Clemente) Daigneault of Montreal, Quebec; brothers, Albert Thompson of Glens Falls, Donald Thompson of Glens Falls, Walter Thompson, Jr. of Queensbury, and Michael (Christine) Thompson, Sr. of Queensbury; niece, Ashley (Thompson) Borders of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and nephews, Michael Thompson, Jr. of Queensbury and Bruce Thompson, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A graveside ceremony will follow at Southside Cemetery in South Glens Falls.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to C. R. Wood Cancer Center of Glens Falls Hospital.
