LAKE LUZERNE --- Dennis Beasich, 79, passed away following a long illness, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with loved ones by his side.

Born August 6, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey he was the son of Valentine and Irene (Dollard) Beasich.

Dennis graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School in 1964. He then attended Seton Hall in New Jersey to further his education. Dennis married JoAnn Johnson in St Amboy, New Jersey in 1976.

He was self-employed as a builder for many years, designing and creating beautiful and well-built homes and remodels. He was also a part of the boiler maker’s union and worked in real estate.

Dennis enjoyed hiking, skiing, photography, racecar driving, and attending formula one racecar events.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his grandparents, Arthur and Katherine Dollard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, JoAnn Beasich; sister, Denise (Tom) DeBiase; in-laws, Gale Johnson, Donna (John) Bird, John (Michele) Johnson, Robert (Dawn) Johnson, Paul (Cheryl) Johnson, Jennifer (Doug) Carney; niece, Jessica (Kevin) Stevens; nephew, Thomas (Danaii) DeBiase; cousins, Ron (Grace) Dollard and John (Maureen) Fox; and his beloved cats, Rocky and Jack.

In loving memory of Dennis, contributions may be made to the Adirondack Council for Preserving Water, Air, and Wildlands; or an animal shelter of one’s choice.
