QUEENSBURY--Dennis Turner, 93, passed away quietly Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 after a short stay at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home following eight happy years at The Landing of Queensbury with Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Dennis was born Jan. 13, 1920 in London but moved to the U.S. as a child where he put himself through school and obtained a PHD in Electro Chemistry. He worked for the phone company for 38 years and has many patents under his name.

He is survived by his two sons, Mark Turner (who helped care for him over the last eight years) and his wife, Peggy, of Bolton; and Robert Turner of New Milford CT; and grandson, Clayton.

Mark and Peggy would like to extend their gratitude to the caring staff at The Landing of Queensbury where Dennis called "home" for the last eight years.
