SOUTH GLENS FALLS --- Donna M. Holcomb, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Glens Falls Center.

Born January 1, 1947, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of James and Dorothy (Trackey) Bradley.

Donna graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1965. She went on to work as a Licensed Insurance Agent for many insurance companies in the area. She also worked as a daycare provider for some time.

Donna married James D. Holcomb on April 8, 1967, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glens Falls.

In her spare time, you could often find her curled up with a good book. Mystery and romance novels were her favorite.

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her children, Cherie Smith and Kelli Dale Holcomb.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Dale Holcomb; children, James Dan Holcomb, Teresa Rose Lawton, and Tabitha Sue Bartwitz; grandchildren, Elizabeth M. DeMarsh, Kelli S. DeMarsh, Kiera R. Holcomb, Kimberly S. Holcomb, and Ronald S. Bartwitz, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jason A. DeMarsh and Tripp W. Freeburg; and cousin, Michael Daniels.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871.
