Kingsport, TN – Donna Marie Stamper peacefully passed away on August 22, 2026 with loved ones at her side.

Born on April 19, 1949 in Glens Falls, NY. Donna attended Ft. Ann Central School graduating in 1968. She went on to be employed at CR Bard for many years.

She was an Americade volunteer for 30+ years, an Adirondack Riders member for many years, Elvis Festival Volunteer for years and an Elvis fan.

Donna is predeceased by her parents, Ester Strangle, Robert Smith, Amy Thayer and Lee Thayer; and loving husband, Walter (Sonny) Stamper III; siblings, Bob Smith, John Smith, Jim Smith and Benejah Bennett.

She is survived by son, Bob (Sandy) Stamper of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Dylan Stamper, RJ Dubay, Brooke (Chris) Skogsberg, Kelly (Ryan) McNally, Joshua (Katrina) Sherman, Matthew (Kamara) Brayman, and Timothy Brayman; 14 Great Grandchildren; sisters; Brenda (David) LaCross, Debbie (Richard) Mahoney, Penny (Ron) LaCross and Connie (Peter) Doty; brothers, Ronny (Renee) Smith, Ed Smith and Gary (Kathy) Bennett; many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially, Dolly (Gary) Rooke and Terri (Bob) Monrian who were very close to her.

A burial will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Pine View Cemetery, 21 Quaker Road Queensbury, NY 12804.
