ARGYLE --- Doris Ann (Talback) Joseph, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Washington Center.

Doris was born February 2, 1937, at home in Victory Mills. She was the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Lamphear.

Doris and her husband, Howard Joseph owned the Woodshed Restaurant. She was a huge Mets fan and enjoyed going to their games with her sister, Diana Hall. She also loved country music, dancing, and going to Kerri’s Diner for breakfast where she met Harry LeClare. They enjoyed spending time together.

In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her sister, Marion Bryant; and brother, Edward Lamphear.

Doris is survived by her children, Leo (Wendy) Talback, Debbie (Jim) Sweet, Andy Talback, Brian (Lynn) Talback,Tammy Benway and Erick Talback; sister, Diana Hall of South Glens Falls; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
