FUNERAL NOTICE UPDATE - A graveside service with for Doris Quinlan will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

GLENS FALLS / HILLSBOROUGH, NH --- Doris "Mema" Quinlan, 88, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at her daughter's home in New Hampshire.

Born April 18, 1928 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, she was the daughter of James Arthur and Mary Jane (Collins) Leazer.

Doris married the love of her life, Thomas H. Quinlan III on Oct. 23, 1943, and they shared 63 years together.

For over 40 years, Doris worked for the Grand Union Co. She loved to bowl and play golf with her many friends.

After retiring Tom and Doris lived in Summerfield, Florida before moving back to Glens Falls.

In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her 13 brothers and sisters and her husband.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Thomas H. Quinlan IV (Linda) of Hudson Falls; her daughter, Patricia D. Bradley (Roger) of New Hampshire, Where Doris resided for the past ten years; four grandchildren, Robin P. Emrick (Christopher) of Bear, Delaware, Michael T. Arsenault of Middletown, Connecticut, Thomas H. Quinlan V of Chicago, Illinois, and Timothy J. Quinlan of Glens Falls; six great-grandchildren, William Allan, Trae Joseph, and Jaidynce Lee Anne Quinlan, all of Glens Falls, Alyssia Quinlan of Aurora, Colorado, and Riley and Brody Arsenault of Middletown, Connecticut; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Leazer, of Maryland; her former son-in-law, Ronald Arsenault of Alabama; also several nieces, nephews and friends.

At her request, there will be no public calling hours.

A graveside ceremony will take place at a later date to be announced, where friends and family are invited to attend at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to CRVNA and Hospice of Concord, NH.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her loving memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
