QUEENSBURY --- Doris DeMarsh Rozelle, 90 years old, passed away on February 10, 2013.
Doris was born in Glens Falls to Harold and Pearl (Kelly) DeMarsh on August 30, 1922.
She most recently resided at Westmount Health Facility in Queensbury where she was well taken care of. She was a die-hard Mets fan, avid reader and crossword puzzler. She cherished bombing around in her car visiting her kids, grandkids, and friends. Doris loved a good tune singing along with her kids and grandkids. She was a long-time GE employee having made many good friends while she was there, retiring in the mid eighties. She loved Harrisena Church and especially loved the Book of Paul.
Doris was predeceased by the father of her children Allen Rozelle and her brothers Clifford DeMarsh and Robert DeMarsh.
Doris is survived by her children: Allen (Corinne), Stephanie (Michael), Nancy (Jeffrey), David (Katrina), Matthew (Patricia). Her grandchildren are Deborah Rozelle, Allen Rozelle, Michael Mumblo, Kellie Porter, Benjamin Wilcox, Shawne Brown, Jacob Lynch, Patrick Lynch, Emmett Rozelle, and Lily Rozelle. She is also survived by two sisters, Karen DeMarsh and Marjorie Rocker. There are lots of great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews as well.
Friends may call upon the family Wednesday, February 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Flossie Gage Bates officiating.
Burial will take place in the spring at West Glens Falls Cemetery.
