Above all, her greatest enjoyment was sewing for herself and others. Until this year she had made a quilt almost every year and for every baby born in her family. When she wasn't busy at home she was traveling with her dearest companion, H. Gifford Bull, all over the country, including the Maritime Provinces of Canada, as well as Alaska and Florida where they spent time camping. Dorothea was camping up until two years ago, and loved every minute of it!
