GLENS FALLS --- Dorothy Louise Aiello, 71, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, following a brief illness.

Born March 19, 1951, in Bronx, New York she was the daughter of Peter and Mae (Cavana) Aiello.

Dorothy graduated from Bogota High School in Bogota, New Jersey. She briefly attended college after high school, then moved to Glens Falls to open her own floral shop, South Street Floral. She was very successful and took great pride in serving local communities for over 20 years.

She enjoyed many afternoons under the trees in the backyard at Saratoga Race Track. She also enjoyed working on the crossword puzzles in The New York Times newspaper.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her companion of 36 years, John Martin; and brother, Paul Aiello of Tarrytown and his two children, her nephews.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses, aides, dietary and housekeeping staff at Glens Falls Hospital.
