Douglas moved with his family all over the country including Rome, Dansville, Buffalo NY, Charlotte ,North Carolina, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Spring, Texas, and Hays, Kansas before settling in Glens Falls, NY because he fell in love with the natural beauty of this area. He enjoyed reading, his Friday coffee dates with his dear friend, Gary, happy hour with a beautiful view on his balcony with his wife, Peggy, and sharing his love of history, travel, art, and especially music.
