FT. ANN -- Earl "Stubby" J. Spellburg Jr., 56, of Ft. Ann, passed away suddenly Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014.

Born Jan.19, 1958, in Glens Falls, Earl was the son of Earl Spellburg Sr. and the late Barbara J. (Bentley) Spellburg.

Earl was a self employed tree surgeon working in the logging industry.

On Aug. 12 1995 he married Marcia Spellburg on Glen Lake Rd. and had shared 32 years together.

Along with his mother, Barbara Spellburg, Earl was predeceased by his grandparents and his Aunt Betty.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Spellburg; his six children, Earl Spellburg IV, Timothy Shawo, Jessica Reardon, Jackie Juaraz, Jennifer Spellburg, and Preston Delorea II; several grandchildren; his father, Earl J. Spellburg Sr. and Aunt Minnie; a sister, Kim Miller; three brothers, Scott, Timothy, and Chris Spellburg; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marcia would like to thank everyone who has been there for her and a great thanks to Earl Spellburg IV.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
