Obituary

QUEENSBURY --- Edmund Seith Jr., 87, passed away at home on Friday, December 26, 2025, following a brief illness.

Born March 28, 1938, in New York City, he was the son of Edmund Seith Sr. and Barbara (Kramer) Seith.

Eddie married Patricia Shanley on November 26, 1960, at St Anthony's in the Bronx, NY. He served in the Army National Guard from 1957-1963, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was also a proud member of the Elks Lodge 877 in Haverstraw, NY.

Throughout his career, Eddie worked as an estimator and project manager for numerous construction companies. However, he was most proud of running his own company, TEPPED Metal and Glass, in the 1990's. Eddie retired for good at the age of 65 to LBI with Patsy.

Eddie loved to bowl, golf and fish. He shared these hobbies with his children. He was also an ardent supporter of all their activities and interests. In later years, he enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his grandchildren and could often be found with a crime thriller in hand.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was predeceased by his sister, Anne Rogan; and granddaughter, Allison Gormley.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia (Patsy) Seith; children, Donna Gormley (Sean), Terri-ann Hunt (Kyle), Patricia Thompson (Gary), and Ed Seith (Lisa); grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Sam, Starley, Daniel, Patrick, Ryan, Trevor, Nicholas, Brendan, and Nick; great-grandchildren, Jack, Madelyn, Riona, Cillian, Charlotte, Ben, and Henry; and brother, Richard Seith.
