WARRENSBURG --- Edward George Brown, 86, of Hickory Hill Rd., Warrensburg, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his home as he wanted.

Born Dec. 21, 1928 in Needham, Mass., he was the son of Edward and Shirley (McNeil) Brown.

Edward enlisted in the United States Air Force Dec. 29, 1950 serving during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged Dec. 21, 1953.

He earned his Associated Degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Ed enjoyed spending time with his horses, and loved to play hockey with Adirondack Senior Ice Hockey. His favorite pastime was keeping track of his grandson's sports.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 55 years, Marie Brown; two daughters, Terry Keenan and Lisa Riley; four grandchildren, Theresa and Shirley, both of Fla., and Kara and Craig, both of Lake George; one great-grandson, Payton, also of Fla.; and many good friends.

At his request, there will be no services.
