Ogdensburg, NY --- Edward J. Trimm, 53, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Born February 26, 1973 in Ogdensburg, New York he was the son of Louis K. and Nancy M. (Hewitt) Trimm.

Edward was the ultimate fun-loving, protective dad and grandpa. He fiercely protected the ones he loved.

Edward lived life to the fullest and by his own rules. He was a devoted Steelers fan and wrestling enthusiast. His legacy will live on through his passion for wrestling; he loved to teach and mentor young athletes. He would do whatever it took to get them on the mat.

Edward is predeceased by his father, Lois Trimm; and grandparents, Courtney and Marjorie Hewitt.

Those left to cherish his memory are his companion of 20 years, Crystal Phelps of Ogdensburg; children, Cayne Trimm of Ogdensburg, Cadyn Trimm of Ogdensburg, Damian Trimm of Heuvelton, Lillian Skelly of Ogdensburg, and Brailey Phelps of Buffalo; mother and step father, Nancy and Doug Mills of Ogdensburg; grandchildren, Schuyler of Heuvelton, Gabriel of Ogdensburg, Karsen of Ogdensburg, Paetyn of Ogdensburg, Margaret of Baldwinsville, Grayson of Ogdensburg, Amelia of Ogdensburg, Levi of Buffalo, and Carter of Buffalo; sisters, Frances (Brian) Tynon of Gouverneur, and Lynn (Mark) Bice of Ogdensburg; also nieces, nephews, and cousins, Andrew Spearance of Ogdensburg, Grace Tulip of Ogdensburg, and Robert Bice of Ogdensburg.
