HUDSON FALLS -- Elaine Minor, 68, passed away on December 6, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital with her beloved family by her side.

She was born on August 10, 1947 in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Elaine is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Carmella (Simone) DeSanto as well as her sister, Rita Stetka.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 48 years, Richard Minor Sr. of Hudson Falls; her 4 children, Mick Minor, Tracie Arehart, Richard Minor Jr. and Jennifer Minor; she leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Richard Minor 3rd., Katherine Minor, Maranda Gonyea, Jeffry Washburn, Austin Gonyea, Dalton Gonyea, Michael Minor and Joshua Minor; along with several nieces and nephews; a great nephew; two Sisters, Michele Deroisers and Carol York; along with her brother, Michael DeSanto Jr.

Elaine's life revolved around her husband and children and family. She would light up at the sight of any of her children or grandchildren. She loved her annual shopping trip with her sisters. it was her yearly tradition. She also loved baking and cooking with her daughters for the holidays, especially Christmas.

A celebration of Elaine's life will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home at 11 Lafayette St. in Queensbury, N.Y., with the Rev. Flossie Gage Bates officiating.

Family and friends are also invited to a gathering at Cerelli's Osteria in South Glens Falls, immediately following the service.
