Obituary

QUEENSBURY--- Eleanor M. (Pratt) Jasmin, 80, passed away on September 21, 2013 after a short battle with brain cancer. She was with her daughter who had spent the night with her and family when she lost her battle with cancer, after watching the Yankees win.
Eleanor was born Eleanor Mary Pratt on June 1, 1933, daughter of the late Ernest C. and Loretta M. (Gaskell) Pratt, in Fort Edward, N.Y.
She graduated from Lake George Central, class of 1952, before going to California with her family where she worked in the insurance business for many years. Eleanor loved going to VT, Fla, CA, and NY to visit her many relatives.
Eleanor loved to travel as well as sports, especially baseball.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by three sons, Scott Steven, Thomas John Bannon, and Earl Jasmin Jr.; a daughter, Barbara "Missy" Delehany; a sister, Rose Pratt Whalen; and three brother-in-laws, Douglas Whalen, Thomas Philo, and Harold Reynolds Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Jasmin; a daughter, Mickey Allen; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Nicole Deal; great-grandchildren; a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Sandi Jasmin, grandson and wife, Raymond and Julie Jasmin, great-grandchildren, Alexis, Emily, and Nicholas Jasmin, granddaughter Lisa Holmes and her husband Todd; also another son and daughter-in-law, Toby and Janice Jasmin, grandson, Josh Jasmin and his wife, Danielle, great-grandchildren, Justin and Jenna Jasmin, Sean Jasmin and wife, Robin, and great- grandchildren, Cole and Charlotte Jasmin; (son of Barbara)grandson, Christopher Delehany; three sisters, Marie Pratt, Barbara Bravo of St. Pete, Fla., and Jane Reynolds of Ft. Ann; two sister-in-laws, Evelyn Philo and Carol Stockmore and her husband Gordon; two brother-in-laws, Ronald and Donald Bannon of CA; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Eleanor's request, services are at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place at Pine View Cemetery, Quaker Rd., Queensbury.
