QUEENSBURY – Elizabeth "Betty" L. Meissner, 78, of Linette Lane passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her home.

Born on May 3, 1938 in Patterson, NJ, she was the daughter of Edward Gagg and Emma Holder.

She was married to Donald Meissner for 57 years until he passed on May 2, 2014. They lived in Oakland, NJ and moved to Indian Lake in the early 80's where they spent many years before they moved to Queensbury.

Betty was employed at National Bank of Ridgewood, NJ and Indian Lake, NY.

She was a member of the ASPCA and enjoyed helping there from time to time.

Betty loved Dachshunds, she had 5 throughout her life time, all pre deceased her and all named Mitzi.

Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brother, Edward Gagg.

She is survived by her nephew, Christopher R. (Stacy) Gagg.
