She began her career at Abraham & Strauss in Brooklyn, New York as a millinery buyer and went on to become a representative for the Talon Zipper Company, working in public relations and did personal appearances all over the country both in store and on television to help promote their product line.

Betty Ann and Chester Andrew Jezewski were joined in marriage on April 28, 1953, at St. Michaels in Brooklyn, N.Y. They resided and raised their three children Anne, Mark and Julia, in Roseland, New Jersey where, in 1968, Betty Ann became a successful Real Estate Broker for Ruth Ebersbach Realty and later with Mitchell & McKenna Realty. In 1981 she received a plaque for the Million Dollar Sales Club from the New Jersey Association of Realtors. She retired from real estate in 1983 and the couple settled in Spring Hill, Florida where Betty Ann enjoyed cooking, Scrabble and playing the piano.
