As I am writing this, I am thinking of all of you — family, friends and customers — without you, I would not have had the great life I had.
I, Emidio Irvin "Nuccio" DiCiccio was born to Eva (Baker) and Carmine DiCiccio over the hardware store in Bolton Landing, New York, on April 3, 1938, and passed away June 1, 2015.
I married Dawn Reichenbach on Nov. 21, 1959. As a result of that union, we had Peter (Glens Falls), Monna (Bruce Nash, New Jersey), Tracey (Michael Langhorne, Colorado), Julia (Arthur Coon, Queensbury), Samantha (Edward Dieffenbach, Connecticut) and Ralph (Glens Falls).
Moving right along, I had granddaughters Amanda Carter (Lila), Desiree DiCiccio (Carmelo amd Marcus), Hannah Coon, Lena Nash, Sophia Langhorne and grandson Chad Dieffenbach.
There will be no calling hours and a small private service for the family.
The date for a celebration of life for friends will be published at a later time.
In my memory, buy a lottery ticket or send a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and think of me.
— Nuccio
