GLENS FALLS --- Ernestine "Tina" M. Morehouse, 99, of Stitchman Towers, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at The Pines at Glens Falls.
Born Nov. 13, 1915 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Peter and Anna (White) Landry. She was one of 13 children.
Ernestine graduated from Lake George High School. She worked for JR. McMullen, more recently known as the Troy Shirt Factory as a floor lady.
On June 13, 1935, she married Wakely R. Morehouse Sr. at Sacred Heart Church in Lake George.
For many years, she enjoyed winning BINGO at the Towers, where she lived.
She was a member of St. Anne Sodality.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wakely R. Morehouse Sr., her son, Wakely "Skip" R. Morehouse Jr., 12 siblings, and a granddaughter, Cynthia Morehouse.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter-in-law, Helen Morehouse; three grandchildren, Shawn O. (Tammy) Morehouse, Joseph W. (Gwen) Morehouse, and Robert W. (Christine) Morehouse; ten great-grandchildren, Crystal and Joshua McLean, Patrick, James, Reagan, Kierstynn, Whitney, Skyler, and Andrew Morehouse, and Elizabeth Farrell; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will take place Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 62 Warren St., Glens Falls, with the Rev. Joseph Manerowski, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will take place Monday, May 4, at 1 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Queensbury.
