TROY --- Faith Rose Laiacona, 95, formerly of Troy, passed away peacefully March 19, 2013 at Fulton County Residential Healthcare Facility.
Born March 17, 1918 in Adams, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Lester and Florence (St. Joques) Dutcher.
She was a member of The Rebecca's associated with The Odd Fellow's In Uniform of LAPM Auxiliary. Member of Troy Senior Center, Watervliet Seniors Choral Group. Faith was on the Ralph Vartigan's Dailing For Dollars where she had a segment called Sewing with Faith sponsored by The Singer Sewing Machine Co. in Albany during the early 60's.
Sister to Lawrence, Alva, Walter Jr., Helen Irmie, Clara Rochester, Ester, Danny Dutcher.
Survivors include her husband, George A. Laiacona Sr. Fulton County Residential Healthcare Facility, Ronald A. Barth of Queensbury, George Laiacona Jr., of Galveston, TX, Frank A. Laiacona of Millsboro, DE, and Arthur T. Laiacona of Whitehall; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
A graveside service will take place Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m., with Deacon Bill Bazinet officiating, at Blooming Grove Rural Cemetery, Route 4 S, North Greenbush, N.Y.
