Obituary

CHESTERTOWN --- Faye E. Tennyson, 62, passed away peacefully Dec. 17, 2017 at her home.

Born April 8, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Bradley C. Tennyson and Margaret (Jordan) Burgess-Klemple.

Faye graduated from BOCES and she volunteered with many organizations.

Some of her enjoyments included working outside, a love for her dogs, gardening and flowers, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Faye was predeceased by her two brothers, Clarence and Floyd.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Kathy, Linda, Rhonda, Darlene, and Jeanette; brothers, Walter, Brian, and Charlie; her aunt, Roseann Tennyson; extended family members, Leona Pedalty and Kayleigh Quinlan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; also her dog, Sparky, as well as several other dogs through her life.

Calling hours will take place Thursday, Dec. 21, from noon to 2 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Flossie Gage Bates officiating.

A graveside service will take place at a time to be announced.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Faye's friends and staff at ARC of Rensselaer County. The family would also like to extend their gratitude and thanks to Leona and her daughter, Kayleigh for caring for and watching over Faye for many years.
